In October 2018 I was hired as the Lead Visual Artist for REEBOK CLASSICS JD SS18 Cadet: The Recording Studio.
The event hosted by Reebok classics x JD gave young competition winners a chance to work in groups with up and coming rappers and producers to create their own studio quality hip hop song and meet professional rapper Cadet. My job as visual artist for the event was to paint 3 canvasses live reflecting the themes of the event, interact with the attendees and also give a casual workshop on 'doodling and drawing', which I achieved by providing some worksheets I prepared and encouraged the participants to get involved and do some artwork of their own.
I prepared sheets of paper with prompts to get participants to draw and doodle themselves. To go along with those I drew an outline of the trainer Reebok was promoting at the event so people that might not want to draw could do some colouring if they wanted to.
