After teaching almost four months of the school year and not having time to work on a project of my own, I decided it was time to have some fun with Illustrator. I too the week of Thanksgiving Break to develop these twelve characters. I had the idea of using old CD jewel cases as frames and gluing them together to create a 12 panel mosaic. It looked good, but was a lot of extra work. I plan to develop the images a little further and I might turn them into a series of paper toys.
