Lofoten 2019
Since I first visited the Lofot Islands in 1998 I wanted to return. It's been such a dream land for me. And I've only been there in summer! So I always wanted to come back to this wonderful spot – but I didn't see a chance. I told a good friend of mine, a very enthusiastic photographer, in 2018 about all of this. He didn't say much, but in January 2019 he said to me: "I'm going to visit Lofoten in April." I told him he couldn't travel without me, and I decided that I really should make the journey I've dreamt of so long now.
Being there in winter (or late winter as we did) is for a photographer much better than in summer. The light is changing so quickly, and the snow gives more contrast than there's in summer. We really enjoyed out stay. It was amazing. I'm afraid I still want to return there...
