Beim Ideenwettbewerb der Stadt Halle zur Gestaltung von Plakaten für das Laternenfest 2019 (größtes Volksfest Mitteldeutschlands) gewann der Entwurf den 1. Platz. Die Stadt sollte zum Leuchten gebracht werden, wobei auf dem Plakat Tradition mit Frohsinn und Lebensfreude verbunden werden sollte.
Der Hallore als traditionelles Element, der hier das Wappen der Stadt Halle als Boot nutzt, beleuchtet mit seiner Laterne die Festwiese und die musikalischen Ausflügler auf der Saale. Über allem leuchtet das von Musik begleitete Höhenfeuerwerk. Die Stadtsilhouette im Hintergrund und die Burg Giebichenstein verorten das Ganze.

At the ideas competition of the city of Halle for the design of posters for the Lantern Festival 2019 (largest folk festival in Central Germany), the design won 1st place. The city should be made to shine, whereby tradition should be combined with happiness and joie de vivre.
The Hallore as a traditional element, which uses the coat of arms of the city of Halle as a boat, illuminates the festival meadow and the musical day trippers on the Saale with its lantern. The fireworks display, accompanied by music, glow above everything. The city skyline in the background and Giebichenstein Castle locate the scene.
