Every Saturday, Good Weekend is inserted into Australia’s most well-respected newspapers, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. The aim of this brief was to design two opening and two text spreads aimed to align with the design aesthetic seen in the popular Good Weekly magazine. The colours have been extracted from chosen images and used in the typography to create continuity in the design. Featuring technical editorial requirements such as finished art, introduction, pull quotes, image captions, character styles and paragraph styles, drop caps, and controlling widows and orphans.
