1st April. Every year Ola pranks India asa customary April Fool’s Joke.
But this year we wanted to do more.

Idea:
Restrooms available in one touch-Ola Restrooms. We went after the need of the people. Realizing that lack of washrooms is a worry for our urban audience. So we promised on-the-go restrooms available on our app.
Execution:
We launched a product film for ‘Ola Restrooms’ enticing India to take note. As Ola Restrooms began to receive love, we revealed the real cause behind this prank through a film.
We then made India part of the solution by introducing a donation button on our app, urging people to contribute to the cause.
Results:
Over 1,20,000 people donated.
More than 20,000 toilets built.
Reach 17,310,043.
Online conversations more than 43,000.
