Plastic Shells is an experimental typographic project where letters are made out of trash found on the beach. In 2015 the world produced 381 million tonnes of plastic, and today a considerable amount of it lives in our oceans. We want to make people aware of the plastic pollution issues by showing it from a new perspective.
On March 20th 2019 we collect a series of objects on a beach near the city of Naples in the south of Italy.
These objects were used to compose the letters for Plastic Shells.
