About the book
I have chosen the novel ‘The Great Gatsby’ which was written by Francis Scott Fitzgerald. It was written in the 1920s. The Great Gatsby is a great book, and has some very valuable life lessons. Below is a image of the very first book cover ever made.
My Design
My design i decided to use a retro vintage style to try showcase the time in which the novel was based. using Adobe Illustrator, using gradient tool, shape tools to duplicate the retro pattern. i also used a free font parklane nicks fonts, for the desired effect of it being magical and extravagant like the parties hosted by Gatsby in the book.
