The Cairo International Film Festival is an internationally accredited film festival that is held annually since1976. The main approach in the festivals advertising campaign was to create ads, posters, and billboards that reflects the new brand image and shows the relation between the Egyptian culture and cinema production.
The main slogan of the campaign is "Where cinema begins" which refers to the fact that visual storytelling began in egypt, when they drew their stories and legends in a form that's very similar in structure to the cinematic film.

The following is the ad campaign driven from the main poster and billboards. the slogan of the main poster "Where cinema begins" is modified with the four main elements of Egyptian cinema "Where acting begins", "Where royalty begins", "Where action begins",and "Where Magic begins".

The following is an interactive Photo Booth that takes photographs of the user and put him in a movie scene with his favorite movie star. This will be used as a type of guerrilla marketing, aiming to spot more light on the field of cinema and on The Cairo international film festival in precise. It will be present in the festival headquarters and the cinemas that shows the festival's films.
