In November of 2018, Guaranty Trust Bank launched a new app called Habari in which they said the app supposed to be your one app for everything from music to shopping e.t.c. well, I was interested and decided to try out the app and oh, the app had a terrible interface, the experience was even worse. As it turns out, I am not the only one noticing this, below are reviews from Google play store
A lot of bad reviews about the app, but my focus is its interface and as you can see with the highlighted feedbacks above, one word kept coming up, “Cumbersome” which is not exactly the best word to use but we get the point these users were trying to get across. Seeing this, I would be really surprised if there was a designer on the team that built this app.
So beginning Monday this week, 5th of August 2019, I decided to redesign the app
(after procrastinating for so long
😂). My aim was to make the app have a better more useable interface which also looks good.
