Vector design of a set of Icons for a Farmer's Market

This is the process of the creation of a set of icons for the "Farmers Market" website of a client.
Final set of icons
What he asked for: The client wanted a set of icons, intended for identify different sections and products of it's Farm's Market Website.
First design presented to client
We started with a "food package" and "food selling" concept, since he also wanted to give the sensation of being shopping directly in the market. Icons would be applied in a size not too small, so he wanted them to be detailed. He later asked to include a Church in the icons, as well as a typical tent, to give a more detailed sensation of being shopping in the farm's market. Where he lives, these markets are mainly organized around these typical churches.
New design, including the Church, tent, and new products
Another variation of the concepts
I used a group of graphical representations for the design of the different elements. And for the tent, the colors are those of the logo of the website.
The process of vectorizing elements, color references, shapes, etc.
The final delivery consisted in a set of 3 vector icons.

One to represent the products from the Farmer's Market.
One for the Fresh fruits and vegetables.
And one for more sophisticated products (market hall product).

This was a lovely work of illustration and research of these markets, and a very interesting concept to approach for something as small as an icon. <3
