Dorpsklap is a one day community event in the Belgian village of Wijgmaal (Leuven, BE). Its goal is to give local artists, craftsmen and experts a stage to present their passion and expertise to the community. To further stimulate connection, each performance takes place in the living room or garden of a family home. This way, the audience gets acquainted with a local artist or expert and a local family. The programme included two guided walks, an artisan fair, 4 living room concerts, 3 craftsmen, 3 scientists and a rock concert by a local superband.
Working on a very limited budget, I designed a campaign poster, flyers, banners and a responsive website. In addition, I helped with online communication and the organisation of the event. The colourful icons I drew, illustrate the wide variety of topics: a mix of crafts, sciences, stories and music.
