This book featured just a submarine and a few sea creatures, so the sub design was the primary task.

I had been given a rough guide for the kind of sub they wanted- a small, hydrodynamic craft with a hint of sci-fi.

I referenced real subs so as to make it seem plausible. The client liked this one but asked for the bubble to be replaced with something more sleek and angular.
