Understanding how a machine works and using well-known tools in a different way than before gives a new freedom in design. By redefining the order of priorities, we have discovered a wider space for experimenting and choosing from more unpredictable work results. In this case, what we wanted to achieve was a plan for an optimal process rather than a designed product. The most valuable thing was the compromise between the acoustic requirements, technological constraints and a reasonable production time. Designing the right tool shape had a key impact on the effective dispersion of sound wave and the visual aspect of the panel's surface pattern. However, by designing the assembly structure, we also gained the ability to absorb sound wave through the appropriate width of the gap between the panels and the distance between the system and the wall. The structure additionally eliminates the imperfections of the wall to which the system is mounted and allows for a quick arrangement of panels according to the grid.
