PBS Tigers Branding

Introduction
I was contacted by a local elementary school near my hometown that was in need of a refresh to their old branding. The old logo the school used was dated, and featured a cartoon mascot of a tiger. The kids going to the school were sick of the design, so much so that they would be caught turning their school sweaters inside out to hide the design. I was challenged with creating a modern, clear, bold, and fun design that the kids could proudly wear.

The Logo
The new logo was designed to encompass the traits of the PBS tigers that would wear it - strong, fun, and fiercly unique. The design incorporates these qualities with strong bold lines and colours, a fun and aestetically pleasing visual style, and imagery of a tiger without featuring a mascot. This logo was designed to be used on a wide variety of applications from letterheads, to t-shirts, to giant murals and flags. As a result, three versions of the logo were created to enable the branding system to work anywhere.

Small Applications
The logo works on the smallest of use cases. Letterheads, stamps, and embroidered patches look better than ever.

Everywhere in Between
From your standard t-shirts, to on-screen presentations this logo makes sure it can be clear and consise no matter the size or the medium.

Large Sizes
Always seen. Even at the largest sizes, the Tigers’ new logo shines on full wall murals, floor decals, and flags.
