Editorial design - 2012

 

This guide to the 22nd National Meeting of Design Students in Brazil was a task to translate the concept of multiple possibilities (or "jeitos") in a visual sequence of images and information. Using some nonsense collages somehow related to a sequence of numbers, it was possible to explore some unusual results, and unexpected reactions from participants during the 7-day event. In the end, we had an informative, yet extremely visual booklet.

From the principle that a design event is more fluid and free in all its conceptions, it was possible to destroy definitions and rework the NDesign identity forms from the inside. Abandoning the rules of the project itself, the limits were expanded, and images could run free: sometimes disconnected and intriguing, but always demanding a response from the reader.
