Futured frame
Due to the development of personal mobility society, the demand for electric bicycles is also increasing. Since electric bicycles do not use harmful gases, it is one of the fields that the government is also promoting. However, until now, electric bicycle frames have been considered only usability in a simple form. This means that there is no protrusion of the front part or no customization. So, GEO designed a protruding frame on the front that was not existing, and created two advantages by matching the battery protection method and the location of personal customization.
퍼스널 모빌리티 사회가 발전함에 따라, 전기자전거의 수요도 급증하고 있는 추세입니다. 또, 전기자전거는 유해가스를 반출하지도 않는 이유로 정부에서도 장려하고 있는 분야 중 하나입니다. 하지만, 기존의 프레임들은 오직 사용성만을 위해 디자인되어 왔습니다. 이것은 전면부에 특별함이 없거나 커스터마이징이라는 분야에서 약점을 드러내는 것을 포함합니다. 그래서, GEO는 기존에 존재하지 않았던 방향인 전면부 돌춤 프레임의 형상을 창조하였으며, 배터리 보호와 커스터마이징이라는 두가지 이점을 동일한 곳에 위치시켜서 극대화된 두가지 장점을 제안합니다.
The main concept of GEO is geometric frame. When connected by lines, the shape of the GEO is all made up of geometric basic shapes.
Also, the design was completed considering the center of gravity and load.
About 1500 frame sketches were conducted based on three guidelines:
geometric shape, unusual shape, and excellent center of gravity, and about 15 sketches were selected.
Among them, a line mockup for 11 designs was conducted, and this was to confirm the three-dimensional
modeling in the actual production environment.
Performed through the proposed nine types, and supplementary combination was performed for the two selected designs.
