"Baraka" is a display typeface, inspired by a lettering found on an old book cover (shown below). It follows a certain "typewriter" design, with characteristic details.

There are two avaliable weights to "Baraka" - a regular, and a stencil.
The typeface contains an alternative letter "r", as well as a wide range of ligatures.

The specimen
I wanted for the specimen to reflect the "raw" character of the typeface, which is why it kept a monochromatic look and was printed on a grey carton.
Both weights are shown simultaneously, which makes comparison easier.
Below, two posters with poetry by Antun Branko Šimić (a famous croatian poet) and Dylan Thomas, made to emphasize the display nature of the typeface. Both weights are shown.
