A bespoke typeface created for SKP Beijing for all in store brands.

The design is based on a bespoke grid we created using the number five, which reflects the five different levels in the store, the five senses used within the store, the five elements and the number five as a basis for most Chinese philosophy. Relating back to the contemporary culture and positioning of the store. 

The typeface is composed of three different weights, faceted, bold and regular. Each has a distinct relationship to one another, with the shapes used to create the typeface all being originally drawn on the bespoke grid.
