Human Relations Commission Identity Set

This is a Identity set that we did as a class project for the Decatur Human Relations Commission.  The idea was that the leaders of the Commission would choose the identity set they liked the most.  To my knowledge, the teacher never showed them the final designs and there was never an identity set chosen.
At the cornerstone of any good identity set is a great logo, and this one pulls it off well.  The initial idea was based on one of those positive/negative space brain teasers that let you see a vase or two identical faces.  To reduce that feel and add a sense of connection to the location in which the HRC resides a male and female faces are used with two other faces on the sides of an outline of Macon county.  The two outer faces have different tints to them to suggest more than one ethnicity, and HRC is made from negative space to draw a connection to the positive/negative shape faces.
Another part of the identity set were were required to design was a pamphlet about the HRC.  All the graphics used here were completely original, even down to the pictures that were taken from my own collection.  Most of the information was mined from the HRC website and was accurate at the time of creation.  Also, the front cover was designed to be die-cut to form the shape of a face that partially exposes the "Current Commissioners" panel.
The next key element of the identity set is the business card.  The card was designed with a fictional name, but the other information on the card was accurate at the time I designed the card.
The envelope (above) and the letterhead (below) carry the same repetition of the face and logo that the pamphlet and business card designs have.
