“The Point” is a short documentary film which follows the partnership between Aspen Valley Land Trust, local ranchers, and a boarding school as they take on the restoration of a critical riparian zone at the confluence of two rivers.
My job was to create illustrations and animations which address three main components of the restoration project. First, is the cattle migration to the river through the riparian zone, which caused the need for restoration. Second, is the description of fencing that is appropriate and safe for wildlife. And third, is the water system that was installed to meet the needs of the cattle.
I was allowed a lot of creative freedom on this project which resulted in beautiful scenes with playful movements.
