Há 10 anos, criei um projeto redesenhando a Wikipédia, com a página de artigo e a página inicial. Agora, em 2023, redesenhei o projeto para os dias atuais, indicando a página de artigo e a página de pesquisa.
10 years ago, I created a project redesigning Wikipedia, with the article page and the homepage. Now, in 2023, I have redesigned the project for the present day, indicating the article page and the research page.
Páginas de pesquisa Search pages
Com uma experiência semelhante a busca do Google, apenas campos essenciais são apresentados: o campo de pesquisa, o idioma, os filtros e as demais páginas da Wikipédia. Ao realizar a busca, os resultados serão exibidos em blocos e, quando houver imagem na página, será exibida junto ao nome e a uma definição rápida do artigo.
With an experience similar to Google search, only essential fields are displayed: the search field, language, filters and other Wikipedia pages. When performing the search, the results will be displayed in blocks and, when there is an image on the page, it will be displayed next to the name and a quick definition of the article.

Com a possibilidade de usar imagens maiores, um cabeçalho com uma foto em alta resolução será exibido. O sumário fica na lateral esquerda, enquanto um grande espaço da página é destinado ao texto na esquerda. Tabelas e recursos adicionais são exibidos apenas na lateral esquerda ou ocupando o espaço total. O foco deste design é a leitura do artigo.
With the possibility to use larger images, a header with a high resolution photo will be displayed. The table of contents is on the left side, while a large amount of space on the page is devoted to the text on the left. Tables and additional resources are displayed only on the left side or occupying the entire space. The focus of this design is the reading of the article.
Mídias incorporadas Embedded medias
Compartilhar conteúdo significa apresentar diversos tipos de recursos, seja eles textos, imagens, áudios ou vídeos. Vídeos de plataformas como YouTube e Vimeo passam a ser incorporadas, assim como recursos de áudios e imagens incorporadas, apontando a origem do item.
Sharing content means presenting different types of resources, be they texts, images, audios or videos. Videos from platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo are incorporated, as well as audio and image resources incorporated, indicating the origin of the item.
Redução da quantidade de tabelas Reduction in the number of tables
O atual design da Wikipedia possui muita tabela, trazendo uma aparência ultrapassada em muitos aspectos. A redução de linhas que indiquem a existência de tabelas e a melhor disposição dos itens com elementos que facilitam a separação de conteúdos, tópicos ou links foi criada.
Wikipedia's current design is heavily tabulated, giving it an outdated look in many ways. The reduction of lines that indicate the existence of tables and the better arrangement of items with elements that facilitate the separation of contents, topics or links was created.
