"FLI" Branding Strategy, Logo / Packaging Design

The brand identity for FLI cannabis lifestyle products was created to stand out in an industry that is experiencing phenomenal growth. The retail landscape is populated by decades-old brands and newly funded startups, all clamoring for shelf space.

As part of the in-depth brand identity development process, a wide range of products had to be considered. Many of the FLI products are still in development and will be added to the collection when tested and approved for production. An evolutionary branding system was designed to be flexible and allow for future expansion. ​​​​​​​
FLI creates a wide range of cannabis lifestyle edibles. THC-infused, premium chocolate is one if their specialties. This is the concept that established their existing brand identity. The design system I developed is being used across a wide variety of edibles and vape products within the company.
FLI Premium Chocolate products include both milk and dark chocolate, THC-infused bars that are elegantly packaged. Regulations require that each chocolate bar include a tamper-proof system to be legal for sale in California, Oregon, Colorado and Washington State. 
The mission for the FLI brand is to immediately appeal to the customer's visual sensitivity through bold packaging that is inspired by simple geometry and clean typography.
A recent addition to the FLI line are THC-infused, flavored mints that are packaged to enhance the spontaneous, 'on-the-go' recreational experience.
