Alphabzzet is a font made by hand and eventually digitalized for the Type Design course at Politecnico di Milano.
The aim of the project was to reinterpretate in a personal way the first precursor of Garamond type, Bembo, following its original curves and proportions.

The design has been done with an istinctive but regular trace, simpliflying or eliminating some serifs. This passage has been done with a pencil and a very light paper, keeping the original design underneath.
The lines have been re-traced on another sheet, making some corrections on irregularities, and then inked.
This second paper has been scanned and traced a third time digitally on Illustrator, correcting and cleaning lines.
Finally, each letter has been imported in FontLab Studio for the final digitalitation and export.

This font has been made in a creative way, it is deliberately unaccurate and incomplete. I think that it could be more suitable for short texts in small sizes.
