Visualized information records appeared before characters were invented. The visualized information has become the basis for the industry to improve, and the development of technology has made possible advanced visualization and contributed to the development of human civilization. Infographics, which was born in order to more intuitively recognize the overflowing information in the modern age, is getting attention. It was included in the timeline so that you could briefly understand how mankind’s efforts to visualize information from ancient times to the present have evolved.
시각화된 정보 기록은 문자가 발명되기 전부터 등장했다. 시각화된 정보들은 산업이 향상하는 밑거름이 되었으며, 기술의 발전은 더 고도화된 시각화를 가능케 해 인류 문명의 발전에 기여해왔다. 현대에 들어서는 넘쳐나는 정보를 더욱 더 직관적으로 인지하기 위해 탄생한 인포그래픽이 주목을 받고 있다. 고대부터 현대까지 정보의 시각화를 위한 인류의 노력이 어떻게 발전해 왔는지 간략하게 파악할 수 있도록 타임라인에 담았다.

Current 203 X Design Studio CEO | He worked as an editorial designer in <Reader's Digest>, 'Yonhap News' Graphic News Team, <Weekly Dong-a>, <Science Dong-a> and established the 203 X Design Studio in 2003 in front of Hongik University. Since then, he has been publishing a neighborhood magazine <Street H>, which records the events around Hongik University in 2009, He founded the Infographic Lab 203 in 2012 and hosted the Infographic Group Exhibition at YOON DesignLab Gallery.
