A Dropdown Menu - XD Creative Challenge
For this project, I took my first "dropdown menu" project I did for the XD Creative Challenge, and pushed myself to create something that had a theme and was, for all intents and purposes, 'functional.' My inspiration for the fictional company, Bike Camp New York City, comes from a real-life bike shop located in Gowanus, Brooklyn that emphasizes adventuring by bike.
I took the basic set-up of the real bike shop, and created this fictional landing page, focused on the categorical menu items: Shop Gear, Adventure, and Ride Reports.
My goal here is to, overtime, continue to build on this particular project as I learn new how to use XD and explore UX/UI design; and then take these mock-ups and attempt to code them to build up my front-end web developer skills.
