This summer, we are taking part in new Createfulness practice, giving Adobe’s community key insights on how to stay creative while creating a very unique and personal motion graphics design. Part of this challenge was to use exclusive vintage assets from a kit provided by Adobe that included original print elements from the private archives of designer Erik Spiekermann and the Tipoteca Museum. Using different shapes and graphics from the kit, we transformed them into a timeless motion design that’s like a universe all its own. We focused on some of the circular shapes and the Cassandre typeface and then animated it in After Effects with the 3D camera to create both a 2D and 3D world full of tunnels and caves, and hypnotic results.
