Sound & Hearing Book Redesign
For this redesign of Life Science Library's 1965 Sound and Hearing, I planned the overall design of the book to appear subtle and quiet on the eyes, yet created imagery that seems to resonate with sound. The imagery is implemented with bitmap overlays to represent sound, Bitmap is controlled by frequency, just as sound is. Within bitmap, the frequency can be controlled to greater or smaller amounts, and this helps represent sound based on the density of the bitmap.
