Dataart calendar 2017
This calendar is aiming to highlight the positive sense of time. We analyzed all characteristics present in typical calendar information and possible differences between the days through one year and chose to reflect on the duration of daylight. As far as we work with infographics and data visualization our interest was to show this information as data art, to create not so much practical calendar but visually unconventional presentation of familiar data to make the viewer find some new understanding of the process of the flow of time within which he/she exists.
As the idea was to show the duration of the light day through the year, we found data and made simple bar chart
Than we decided to turn it in a form of closed circle to accent the cycle character of a year.
