My brother Chris and I roamed the streets of central London taking photos of either structure or colour. We then chose 3 structure images (converted to greyscale) each and 2 each of our colour-focused shots which most truly represented our notions of 'Urban'. These were blended in Photoshop using the more advanced algorithmic processes usually utilised in scientific imaging. The goal was to see if a purely mathematical blending of images could generate an abstraction which 'spoke' the target concept (Urban) to the viewer.
