This poster was designed with the band 'England in 1819' in mind. Their name is inspired by the poem by Shelley of the same name (or possibly it is a huge coincidence that I have looked too much into).
The first line is: 
'An old, mad, blind, despised, and dying king...'
 
And now living in New York the main thing on my mind is rats. Being surrounded by rats on the subway and their tails all intertwining to make a RatKing. So it seemed fitting to put a rat on the throne and have his advisors and whisperers squirming about behind the throne, hiding in the shadows. The costume itself is based upon the royal portaits of King George III who the original poem is based about.
