Familiarity with a space involves a repeated interaction with it, which overlaps traces of fat from the skin on the surfaces of objects. The traces of oil on linen in these two works make a reference to the meaning of those traces of fat. Their aim is to compare a personal space with a public one by analyzing how a person relates to them during sleep.
