The 'ORSO' company is known for its very good quality of coffee beans. As it is located in (Brooklyn) NY, so the customers are supposed to be modern. The customers can be families, millennial and youth but mostly the neighborhood of Sheepshead bay area.

While sketching, I tried to create bear face, paws because the 'ORSO' itself means bear in Italian. There were number of topographies that I tried to create which are given in sketch folder. The other idea apart from bear was coffee beans. I tried adding paws above coffee bean but that common idea.

I create some of the sketches with coffee cup also but that was too much to create into shapes afterwards. Also, it was contradicting with my idea of keeping the logo minimal.

While adding colors to the black and white version, I go with the pallet that was given by ORSO’S. I tried doing it with orange and yellow, grey and orange but end up with grey, mustard yellow and white background.
