To drive our simulation we’ve explored impossible geometric shapes that result in strangely distorted and dynamic variations. As the mass contorts and folds within itself it drives a perpetual sense of multidimensional space. We developed a system of morphing multi-dimensional geometries to drive our Houdini particle and volume setups. Our Houdini setups allowed for a wide range of behaviours, from volume-shape morphing, through particle advection in pyro fields and negative divergence forces to simulate the gravitational pull of matter through a vortex.
