Lamar University Athletics
Deep in the heart of Southeast Texas, you will find Lamar University. Lamar is located in Beaumont, Texas, (known locally as part of the “Golden Triangle”).
OVERVIEW — Lamar University competes in all seventeen NCAA Division I sports as part of the Southland Conference. I served as the Athletics Graphic Specialist during the summer of 2017 through the Fall of 2018, working, in some capacity, with all varsity sports.
THE CHALLENGE — While with Cardinals athletics, I was charged with creating a cohesive visual identity for each of our sports that respected their uniqueness, but also unified us as a brand under #WeAreLU. During my time in the Golden Triangle, I developed a variety of projects, including social media graphics, schedule posters/cards, gameday materials, environmental graphics, as well as motion graphics.
