Sawyer Outdoors was looking for way to integrate itself with an organization that was located across the country and had outdoor affiliations. Who better than The Boy Scouts of America? So what kind of program could the BSA establish with sponsorship from Sawyer Outdoors? With the country having such various kinds of weather catastrophes all year long we decided to come up with an educational program that would teach families the basics of how to survive weather conditions/catastrophes inherent to their geographic location. This project would not only go to educate families but also help save them.
