The annual torch march, commemorating the 1.5 million Armenian Genocide victims, is held every year on April 23 (a day before the official commemoration date). The procession starts from the Liberty Square and goes to the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims (Tsitsernakaberd) with lit torches.
