The sheep laid an egg

The sheep laid an egg is a sculpture of 2007 for the scholarship competition of the IKY foundation. It was made within three days and got second place. It is made of fabrics, wire and bells of various sizes. It was part of my "musical mobiles" series, that was an experiment on the effect the proximity of the viewer has on the sensitive balance of a wire structure. Unfortunately, all the works submited are kept by the institute, so I never got the chance to show it elsewhere or manage for it to be photographed under better circumstances. I quite enjoyed the process of making it and playing with the sounds.
