«Gismart»'s New Office in Minsk by architects "DUDES architect". New Gismart subdivision aims to develop casual games. The office was designed to accommodate 30 employees on an area of 250 square meters.
The entire office is subdivided into three areas: breakout, meeting and working.
Breakout area includes an entrance hall with black color wardrobes on both sides and a large built-in wall mirror between them. This large built-in mirror creates an illusion of continuing space. The other parts of this zone are a kitchen with a bar and a large dining table, a recreation area with wide comfortable polygonal sofas.
Meeting area includes two boardrooms, a recreation room and a game room. The first boardroom has a red finish on the walls and floor, furniture is made of red color material as well. Green plants in the wall niche and green curtains are used to make a contrast. The chosen colors are infographic for this meeting room. The main concept of the second boardroom is the contrast of modern gloss surfaces and black matt volumed elements.
The game room walls and ceiling are faced with green color noise reduction foam sponge. Ring shaped strip light on the wall with neon blue light complements the space and creates “a space capsule” effect.
The main concept is based on a combination of coarse texture of the building skeleton (concrete walls and open engineering pipes network on the ceilings) and bright contrasting modern materials. Bright interior elements in the office highlight the link between the interior and Gismart’s activity.
Colored glass partitions separate common space from the workplaces and fill the room with different light shades of glares. Partitions can also be used as a marker board.
Furniture metal surfaces reflect light and make a great contrast between the existing space and a new interior. The main theme of the office is accent bright colors tracing in the interior’s details. Blue puffs made of glossy reflective material catch a visitors' eye.
Columns are wrapped with roll foil creating an effect of a spacious room. Such an effect is achieved through sunlight and colored interior elements reflection off the surface.
Bright green curtains shift an architectural layout of the room and creates an illusion of continuing space, they also function as a sound-absorbing screen.
The reflected light of neon in the folds of a PVC film curtain creates a cosmic atmosphere and complements reflections from the foil wrapped columns.
In the main part of the office, flooring repeats the rough texture of the walls finish. Concrete look porcelain tiles blends perfectly with self-leveling concrete flooring and merges smoothly with the concrete finish of the walls.
