This post presents some of the work done after our price on the contest for the brand "25 DEI" — The 25th Anniversary of the Department of Informatics Engineering (DEI) of the University of Coimbra —, blind judged by Artur Rebelo, João Bicker, Nuno Coelho and Edmundo Monteiro.

The glyphs were designed out of their binary representation, using filled and void squares (pixels). The bars show up a grid marked by the 1s in the binary version of "DEI".
