After 30 years of racing in the DTM class, the 2018 season was the very last for Mercedes-AMG. They've reached out and asked me to make a 2-minute short film capturing the anticipation. For a lot of people involved this was a highly emotional moment, doing for the last time, what some of these people did for the last 30-years. In February 2018, I flew to La Manga, Spain to meet the drivers and to be with them as they prepared themselves mentally and physically for the upcoming races and for what would lie ahead of them as a team. Two month later in April, I flew to the Hockenheimring race track in Germany where the first driving tests took place. This is where I met the entire team while the drivers, mechanics, and people involved trained and prepared for their very last season and their very last race.
