2019 Cannes Lions: Creativity Reigns
This is a shortened version of an ambient video loop that was displayed at an Adobe sponsored event at Cannes Lions advertising awards festival. Brian Yap, www.brianyap.com did a fabulous illustration for the branding of the event. We had a pretty quick turn around to create 30 seconds of animation with only a single - albeit awesome - profile image to work with. By reconfiguring elements of Brian's vector artwork, I assembled a secondary view to imply dimensionality and animated everything with 2D distortions and puppeting within Adobe After Effects.
