Through a universe combining graphic design and illustration, Unknown System Call presents

in a new album covers collection, various independent design works as well as covers designed

for artists Neokuma and Kizaru, two young rappers and beatmakers both from Paris, France.

The visual style of this project is inspired by the artists' desire to combine animosity

and industrial design, speed and precision in a chic and sober atmosphere.

À travers un univers mêlant design graphique et illustration, Unknown System Call présente

dans une nouvelle collection de pochette d'album, différents travaux de design réalisés

en indépendant ainsi que des pochettes conçues pour les artistes Kizaru et Neokuma,

deux jeunes rappeurs et beatmakers venant tous deux de Paris, France.

Le style visuel de ce projet est inspiré par la volonté des artistes d'allier animosité

et design industriel, vitesse et précision dans une ambiance chic et sobre.

The visual identity of the collection is dedicated to the research and development of a new raw style, to explore matter,

its geometric shapes and textures. The purpose of this artistic approach is to transcend the classic codes of album cover design, in order to transcend the boundaries between illustration, graphics and abstract art, all in a visual universe inspired

by the artistic trends associated with the progressive rock scene of the 1970s.
A set of graphic stickers has therefore been specially designed to give more space to the compositions,

and to express as well as possible the singular character of the different universes proposed.

L'identité visuelle de la collection est dédiée à la recherche et au développement d’un nouveau style brut,

visant à explorer la matière, ses formes géométriques et ses textures. Cette démarche artistique a pour but

de transcender les codes classiques du design de pochette d'album, afin de dépasser les frontières entre illustration,

graphisme et art abstrait, le tout dans un univers visuel inspiré par les courants artistiques liés au milieu du rock progressif

des années 1970. Un ensemble de stickers graphiques a donc été spécialement conçu afin de laisser d'avantage d'espace

aux compositions, et d'exprimer au mieux le caractère singulier des différents univers proposés.
