Cristina Armesilla is my younger sister and an exceptional artistic jeweler. Over a year ago, she decided to leave the jewelry workshop where she used to work and bet on her personal project. She asked me to help her create a brand that would tell what it was then as an artist, but also contains everything she wanted to become. Check her jewelry work: www.cristinaarmesilla.com

Since her childhood she had two obsessions, our mother's jewelry box, and crafts. After traveling around Europe selling her own creations, she came back to Madrid looking for an art school. From 2014 to 2018 she followed the Jewelry Design Degree and the Enamel Degree at Arte 3 School of Art. After that, she was commissioned to participate in several fairs in cities like New York, Barcelona, and of course Madrid, her hometown.

As a research for the project I tried to deepen as much as possible in her work process to understand how a work day is like for someone who works the way she does: materials, shapes, colors... and use that knowledge to build a visual universe that spoke about her personality as a craftswoman, about her work process and about her art.
Observing her work process, I realized that there were a few basic shapes that are repeated in almost all her pieces, that she uses as modules for many of her pieces. These shapes, by their ability to talk about her work process, with a graphic treatment that enhances it, could be used to create a visual universe robust enough to create all kinds of communication pieces keeping a certain creative flexibility without losing consistency.
