BACKGROUND

Going since 1970, Steri Stumpie is SA’s favourite flavoured milk brand with a range of colourful milk products that encourage you to have more fun.  

Steri Stumpie connects with its large and ever-growing fan base (aged 18–30) across the country by sharing topical, fun and interactive content via social media – positioning itself as a source of entertainment which fans incorporate into their everyday lives.
OUR BRIEF

Our task was to create engaging content which does not take a hard-sell approach – unlike other FMCG products. Instead, we needed to remind followers not to take life too seriously by harnessing witty, relatable and beautifully-designed content – created specifically for social media – to ensure that Steri Stumpie stays top of mind for consumers.

THE BIG IDEA

Using a mix of flat and animated artwork, Steri Stumpie utilises its #milkthemoment platform to inspire fans to make the most out of every moment and to positively seize every opportunity with both hands.

RESULTS

Every month, we create fresh content based on pillars that meet the brand’s objectives – including engagement, interaction, innovation, social reaction and cross branding/activations. 

During the last year, we reached 4,9 million unique users through Instagram and Facebook alone and gained over 4,000 Facebook fans. The engagement we have had has been staggering, raking up more than 117k clicks, shares, comments or reactions and at least 4,000 comments on organic posts alone.
