Incomplete | a soul in progress

"Incomplete"
Acrylic, acrylic ink on canvas. 14 x 11in.
A soul in progress.
I chose the title, “Incomplete” for two reasons.
One of the reasons was the literal sense. One can see the gridlines and pencil marks on this portrait of a young woman. In a sense it is incomplete. Unfinished in the ways that I typically complete my art.
And there is a good reason for that and that is reason number two. As a people, we are ever-changing. Constantly learning and growing from our mistakes and missteps. We are a walking work of art that is not quite complete. And that is why I named this piece with the name as such.
Added a thin layer of green ink and waiting for it to dry.
