CANOPÉE
In 2017 I have been selected for a one month graphic design & illustration residency at the Fontevraud Royal Abbey.
During this residency I worked on an exhibition depicting my experience at the Abbey but also on the main festive event of the Abbaye "Festivini" and on limited edition bottle packagings.

‘’Like a craftsman patiently creating a ship inside a bottle, during his stay at Fontevraud Thibault Daumain captured a mixture of observed and imagined fragments of abbey and Saumurois countryside. Pieces of reality and daydreams mingle in a Bosch-like microcosm, a wildly colourful jungle invading the vestiges of a majestic temple where strange creatures have stepped out of the illustrations of medieval tales and legends to parade. Treasures of history and abundance of the land are paired in an effusion of life, a bizarre carnival celebrating wine growing which you can savour glass in hand.’’
