The Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas is a not-so-known museum in the city centre of Madrid. I was tasked, as part of my education, to redesign the branding of the museum, as well as the creation of several posters depicting some new expositions.
The concept behind the monogram is quite simple, actually: a flower, but more specifically, a cocoon. The cocoon represents the duty of the museum, the bloom of both the design and arts in a whole, joint space.
If you look closely, the monogram also depicts the initials of the museum, being the number 1 the M, 2 is N, 3 is the A and lastly, the 4 represents the D.
Each poster has the same layout, although they preserve different styles.
