Design Objective

The objective of this project was to understand and utilizing the retouching and adjustments tools of Adobe Photoshop to

obtain, properly scan, restore, and colorize a series of damaged photographs.

Design Brief

This project was very challenging, but also rewarding and entertaining in retrospect. The photos each had an abnormal amount of damaged, but I was able to repair said damage using Adobe Photoshop’s Spot Healing, Clone Stamp, and Patch Tools. For one of the photos, I also chose to colorize the photo after restoring. I utilized the Brush Tool and a new layer with a Color Blending mode applied in order to do so.
