The first spread of a three page article exploring the concept of sustainability, it was illustrated to appear stark in contrast to the usually colourful pages of Gallery magazine as the opinion divide on this subject is generally polarised. To take the edge off a little and help convince the unconvinced reader that whilst the authour of the article believes strongly about the subject matter the magazine itself takes an unbiasted stance, I illustrated with statistic about the comapratively low water consumption during wheat production when compared to that of meat with a dirty great diesel guzzling combine harvester. Ahh, balance.

HIT THE ROAD! A GUIDE TO AVOIDING HIJACK
Taken from the 'Hijack!' themed edition of Gallery magazine from February 2012, my tongue-in-cheek guide to creating the ideal vehicle to thwart potential carjacking on a strict budget. The use of an 'exploded' diagram to illustrate the article was both ironic and intentional!

Published in the 'Makeover' themed edition of Gallery magazine from June 2013, the ficticious reporter Jonah Falcon (one of many pseudonyms assumed by a regular writer) preaches about what it takes to get your body looking buff. He's very outspoken and forceful, and the general gist is to lift absolutely everything you can touch in the neverending quest for bigger muscles, which is what inspired the iron fists holding just about everything relevant high in the air.
